Why: Wearable weights add a constant but comfortable resistance to any workout – a walk, a run, barre or HIIT class. The two most obvious areas to strap these on are your wrists and ankles – two main parts of my body that I want to be long and lean, they provide that extra resistance without the bulk.
I splurged the extra +/- $10 on the Bala Bangles because if I’m going to be wearing them outside of the house, they better be cute! I also found them more comfortable and storable than others. They come in many different colors but I bought the Deep Blue (pictured first):
These are alternative options I found as well. Candidly, I have tried a similar product to the first and third, and found that pockets that hold weights to allow for customization, don’t work well in a high intensity movements.
