Why: Also known as a Cosmetic Fridge, a Makeup Fridge, a Skincare Fridge, a Cosmetic Cooler (the most fun of the names, IMO) – these all describe an uber Mini Fridge that are generally more chic and cute than what you would expect from a standard refrigerator. While they’re pretty adorable, they also can level up your skincare game.

The two primary purposes I found are:

• To keep cool many of your skincare products, which prolongs their shelf life ensuring that all the money you’ve spent on products last as long as possible.

• There’s evidence to suggest that cold skincare can help with swelling and redness, for certain products.

The types of things I store include toners, eye cream, sheet masks, gels, products that contain Vitamin C, SPFs, Hyaluronic Acid, as well as certain tools such as the gua sha flat tool and rollers.

Putting something cool on my face just feels good, and that’s enough for me! Just as you open a fridge and think to yourself, what do I want to eat?
