Try: Making overnight oats

Why: Peeling hard boiled eggs at your office starting to get you looks from your coworkers? Yeah mine too. Try for a heartier breakfast or snack. You don’t have to wait 24 hours, you don’t have to eat it all the next day, it will keep for another day or two. It’s really foolproof.

Use any combination of these ingredients based on what you like! I don’t typically measure: Chia seeds, Cacao powder, Cinnamon, Vanilla extract, Coffee (cold brew works!), Unsweetened coconut, Collagen powder. Mix it together and the longer you let it sit the thicker it will get, as the oats and chia seeds will soak things up.

The list could go on and on, you really can’t go wrong. However, the one must have ingredient that really brings it together – is a pinch of salt.

I add toppings that span: fruit, almond or peanut butter, toasted coconut chips (for a crunch) or granola.

Don’t have the ingredients on hand? Try MUSH – their oats are bananas! I’m a fan of their Coffee flavor, but if you’re curious about trying them all, here’s where you can buy a variety pack.

Do you have any must haves in your overnight oats?
